The Swanson Group (TSG) was founded in October 1998 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, by Rich Swanson and Ric Durr, two successful sales and marketing executives in the Consumer Product Goods industry. Swanson and Durr saw potential to utilize their experience and strengths to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of manufacturing clients as well as retailers' position within the industry. TSG built a national reputation through developing and leading strategic initiatives with National Brand and Store Brand manufacturing and marketing companies.
