Dave Gibbons has a 30 year+ track record of driving significant top and bottom line growth, for several leading brands, across multiple consumer product channels worldwide. He has demonstrated the ability to develop and execute winning commercial strategies for products that compete in highly competitive health/wellness, fitness and sporting goods categories in complex local markets in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Latin America. His success has come through building brands, launching innovative new products, developing high performance teams and fostering strong partnerships with major retailers.

Prior to joining The Swanson Group, Dave was SVP of Sales at EB Brands, a broad line consumer products company, where he and his team were successful in landing full chain distribution at Target on multiple P90X brand fitness products.

Previously as VP Sales and Customer Marketing for the US and Canada at Omron Healthcare , Dave and his team were able to achieve $10,000,000 in incremental sales and secure distribution in 20,000+ FDM retail doors in just 18 months of launching a new personal healthcare device. They were also successful in winning 5 new blood pressure sku’s chain wide at CVS.

Prior to Omron Dave ran the International Business for TaylorMade Adidas Golf a $450 million P&L role, with a group of 500 people. Earlier roles include VP of Marketing and Business Development at Life Fitness, Group VP at Johnson Outdoors, President of MacGregor Golf and VP International Marketing at Wilson Sporting Goods.

As Vice President Strategic Business Development at The Swanson Group (TSG), Dave’s role includes strategic planning, assisting the growth of existing TSG clients, new client acquisition, direct client – retailer management, TSG team lead at Albertsons, and assisting team member development.

Dave holds an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and a BS in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
