Glenn Figenholtz has worked in the retail industry for 20+ years. He spent the last 19 years at Walgreens, where he was most recently the GVP/GMM of the Food, Beverage & Household division. At Walgreens, Glenn held positions of increasing responsibility across many categories, including food, beverage, household, beauty, personal care, GM and seasonal. In addition to his category roles, Glenn led the Merchandising & Marketing integration of the Walgreens acquired Rite Aid stores, which included private brand conversions and responsibility of all aspects of the front-end retail business.
Glenn has a passion for driving growth, developing win/win strategies and meeting the needs of the customer. He has successfully launched significant private label and national brand programs, built on the need for long term sustainable success. He was recently named a 2020 rising star from Store Brands magazine as well as a ‘2020 People making a difference’ award winner by Mass Market Retailer.
His knowledge of the customer, retail and products makes him uniquely positioned to help build brands into the future. Glenn believes the consumer is constantly changing, and it is our responsibility to be authentic and nimble by bringing products and services forward that make lives better.
When not in the office, Glenn spends his free time honing his skills on the golf course, rooting for the Chicago Bears as well as testing out new grilling recipes with his daughters and wife.
