Jackson Smith joined The Swanson Group in March 2026 as Vice President and General Manager of Walmart & Sam’s Club. Based in Bentonville, AR, he leads TSG’s business with these key accounts, drawing on 14 years of retail merchandising and operations experience in the mass channel.
Prior to TSG, Jackson held progressive roles in Merchandising at Walmart, most recently as Sr. Director of Merchandise Operations. He led teams and drove strategic initiatives in supply chain optimization, category management, planning & replenishment, and omni-channel merchandising. Notable achievements include being named Buyer of the Year in 2019 and leading the team awarded Digital/Tech-Enabled Team of the Year in 2020.
Jackson brings a proven track record of building transformational growth strategies, a strong collaborative network, and a passion for partnering with suppliers to better understand and serve their customers.
