In March of 2013, Scott joined The Swanson Group as Senior Vice President Business Development, and now leads the sales team as Chief Sales Officer.
Scott has been an innovative sales and marketing executive in the CPG Industry for more than 30 years. He has in-depth experience in category management, strategic planning, major brand launches, and new product and business development activities.
Scott began his career in the OTC and Personal Care products arena, including stints in account management and leadership at Playtex Family Products, DuPont Pharmaceuticals, Alberto Culver, Novartis, and Portfolio Companies for AEA Capital and Bain, such as Burt’s Bees. After the sale of Burt’s Bees in 2007 to Clorox, Scott tapped into his valuable “manufacturing-side” experience and knowledge to develop and manage Store Brand and National Brand programs for a Manufacturer’s Representative Agency.
