Erik Swanson has worked as a Sales Manager within the Action Sports industry for the last ten years. His experience includes leading brands such as Nordica Skis and Boots, K2 Skis, Marker Bindings, Shred Helmets and Goggles, Slytech Protection, Level Gloves, and Kind Design Clothing. Prior to his career in actions sports he worked as a Sales Coordinator for the international industrial rental giant, United Rentals.

Focusing heavily on sales and retail account management throughout his career, Erik has a strong knowledge of retailer and client needs and an experienced eye for what makes a product successful. He has created and advised on integral brand and product development projects that have significantly grown sales, managed several “coming to market” product events, and managed multiple sales teams of up to 50+ members within the Action Sports Industry.

Erik has built a vast relationship network among a diverse group of retailers and brand managers / owners. These retail accounts range in size from big box stores such as Vail Resorts Retail (VRR), Christy Sports, and The Sports Authority to smaller grass roots locations such as Danax Sports (Double Diamond, Vail) and Larson’s Sports (Denver). His diverse channel experience has given Erik the opportunity to work closely with owners and buyers on the details that satisfy a successful small business and also on visualizing and creating big picture success with larger, more complex retail partners.

Joining The Swanson Group in 2016, Erik is our newest team member and is responsible for managing our business throughout the Western United States.
